We made homemade valentines like Mrs. Bear did...
...wrote Valentine poems...
...and even learned all about ants so we could make chocolate covered ants...just like Mrs. Bear!

The chocolate didn't work out...so we just had regular ants! :0)
We learned ants have a head, thorax, abdomen, 6 legs, and 2 antennae.
It was a very "sweet" day with friends!
Amanda said this was a great school day. She really liked have Ava join them. Looks like the class covered lots of different skills and subjects tied together with the literature. I LOVE LOVE LOVE those kind of days too!
