We are still learning about Africa in our 1st grade Geography lessons...we are using Galloping The Globe as a resource.

We learned more about Kenya...we'll be studying just a few countries in Africa.
We learned about a little girl from Kenya...this worksheet is available at a great blog called Homeschool Creations. She uses Galloping the Globe also and offers a ton of free printables! (The sheets are intended to go with the book Children Just Like Me, but they don't have a Kenyan child listed.)
To finish up our lesson on Kenya, we made African Mealie Bread.
