FYI...the Mandarin Branch Library on Kori Rd. offers a fun Wed. afternoon activity called What's Up Wednesday on early-release Wednesdays. We tried it out today and Taylor really had a lot of fun! It is geared for school age children (5 yrs and up)...most of the kids looked to be @ 3rd grade or so, and Taylor was one of the youngest. This week they made their own postcards, picked names out of a hat (from other kids in the room), addressed the postcard to the child they picked, wrote a message to the child, and then will receive a postcard themselves in a few days.
Each time they offer the program it's a new activity. I think you don't know what it is until you arrive (though you could probably call that day and find out).
