Learning About Ice, Seals, & Sea Lions

I taught a science lesson this past Friday...the girls used their 5 senses to observe ice.
We recorded what we found and wrote it down on "ice cubes".

We talked about where we can see ice...

And what we use ice for...

They played the Ice Fishing sight word game...

We also learned the differences between seals and sea lions...

Another fun science day!
(Never imagined myself as a "science teacher" in my wildest dreams!)

  1. The girls look like they had so much fun learning with you. Amanda was quite delighted to get to play that ice fishing word game.

You are a great science teacher! As well as math, and language arts and social studies ...you are doing it all these days!

  2. Thanks Susan...you know I always need a little encouragement! It's so easy to doubt yourself!
